I identified an underserved niche and set out to build a business around it. Working across product, websites, content, sales, marketing, and client onboarding, the goal was a repeatable system for launching high-trust adviser websites and generating high-value leads.
Independent financial advisers are poorly represented online. Most have no real presence, or rely on generic firm pages and directories that say little about the individual behind the service. Clients are making high-stakes decisions with very little to go on. Traditional website options are slow, expensive, and not built for this niche.
Design a profile format that leads with trust: qualifications, client type, and clear explanations. Then systemise it — templated websites, repeatable content, simple onboarding.
The business model was designed to reduce friction too: subscription instead of upfront fees, a free trial to lower the barrier to entry, and performance-based pricing.
Live, with early versions in use. Built a working system for launching and managing multiple sites. Pushed my thinking beyond screens into systems, constraints, and how products become businesses.
